Welcome to the FleX Brake Customization Guide!

This guide will help you choose the perfect FleX brake that will perfectly suit your preferences and provide an exceptional experience during intense gameplay.

Basic information

FleX brakes are available in four models and different configurations. All models share common features such as compatibility and durability.

On each page of each structure there is a configurator where you can choose parameters. In this guide you will learn what the individual options affect and who they are dedicated to.

Brake load

Load is the resistance force felt when pulling the brake lever.
The greater the load, the more force is required to apply the brake.

The brakes are available with four different load types.

Types of load

  • Standard
  • Plus
  • Max
  • Ultra

Standard

Spring with balanced stiffness.

What does it involve?

To pull the lever, you need to use a moderate amount of force, which means that even during long-term gameplay, using the brake does not require significant effort.

For whom?

Designed for drift users who want to quickly and easily pull the brake lever, as well as younger players.

*Load available with model: HX, SX, LX

Plus

A load using a spring with a slightly stiffer stiffness.

What does it involve?

To pull the lever, you need to use slightly more force than standard.

For whom?

Dedicated to users who want effective braking with a lever that requires moderately increased force to pull. A stronger spring provides a more specific feel during gameplay and increases realism.

*Load available with model: HX, SX, LX

Max

Load using a slightly stiffer spring and an elastomer.

What does it involve?

Pulling the lever requires more force, and an elastic resistance is felt at the end of the movement.

More information

For whom?

This type of load is dedicated to intermediate and professional users. The load works best for WRC games.

*Load available with model: LX, RX

Ultra

The load uses three elastomers of different hardness.

What does it involve?

Pulling the lever requires a great deal of force, with resistance increasing exponentially with the degree to which the brake is applied.

More information

For whom?

This type of load is intended for the most advanced users who prefer riding that requires the use of a lot of force when applying the brake.

A brake with this type of load requires a solid mounting base.

*Load available with model: LX, RX

Reading technology

Each brake is equipped with an analog sensor that reads the position of the applied lever. The reading technology is responsible for the way this process takes place.

The brakes are available with two reading technologies.
Precision Trace Technology
Precision Trace Technology

Types of technology

Precision Trace Technology

PrecisionTrace Technology

X4R PrecisionTrace technology uses a precise, analogue potentiometer that ensures the lever position reading is always linear. These brakes also have a greater lever travel range and a small dead zone when changing direction.

For whom?

Dedicated to people who want the most precise braking effect.

Precision Trace Technology

DynamicHall Technology

X4R DynamicHall Technology uses a Hall sensor, working with a neodymium magnet. This combination guarantees enormous durability with high reading dynamics, at the cost of small non-linearity of operation.

For whom?

Designed for people who like dynamic, extreme use of the brake.

Software

When personalizing your brake, you have the option to choose the software version. The default, free option is the Lite version, which provides basic configuration features. The Pro version of the software, on the other hand, offers both basic and advanced features, giving you full access to a wide range of settings that further expand the possibilities in the game.

3 Modes adapted to different game mechanics

Digital mode simulates braking in the form of a keyboard keystroke.
· Analog mode allows for smooth braking, depending on the degree of brake application.
· Automatic mode automatically selects the optimal course of action for the game mechanics.

Adjusting the lower and upper brake threshold. The lower threshold is responsible for the brake dead zone - this will eliminate noise caused by, for example, cockpit vibrations. The upper threshold is the point at which the game reads the maximum brake application - you can balance speed and precision.

X4RACE xLED system

X4RACE xLED System

X4Race xLED is a system that will further enhance your experience when using the brake. LEDs, integrated directly into the brake housing, light up sequentially with the movement of the lever.

This makes it easier to notice how hard you brake, and your gameplay becomes even more interesting thanks to new visual effects.
